Symposium under way in Ouagadougou to discuss terrorism

A symposium is under way on peace in the Sahel region in Burkina Faso. The theme is security perspectives in the Sahelo-Sahara Stip, and is meant to deal with strategies to address rising terrorism in the region. This three-day meeting is meant to lead to plenary and workshop sessions. Several recommendations are also expected at the end of this symposium.
