Sunday Nov 4, 2018. 24 hours after surgery. This video shows surgical procedures. Viewer discretion is advised. This case study shows an excellent outcome from removal of multiple under the skin tumours in a dwarf hamster. The skin is black (gangrenous) now but it is not due to the surgery. The lump was gigantic and that black part of the skin was the inflamed skin caused by friction from the floor when the hamster moved about, before surgery. An elizabeth collar is worn, but the hamster usually knows how to take it out. Tip: Get the tumour removed by a hamster vet before it is more than 5 mm large in diameter. In this cse, the tumours had become cancerous and numerous.
