Kenya kicked off the Confederation of Southern African Football Associations women's tournament with a commanding win over Mozambique in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

The Harambee Starlets, as a guest team came from behind twice to beat Mozambique 5-2 at the Luveve Stadium. Neddy Atieno equalised twice before Mwanahalima Adam sent Kenya ahead for the 1st time in the match. 

Atieno added a fourth as the Starlets took control of the game in the 2nd half before Phoebe Oketch iced the cake with a free kick for a 5th. In the opening group B match, Swaziland beat Mauritius 3-0.
