Hey there, Santa here filling in for Mr. FiddleHed for the fiddle lesson today. I’ll show you how to play You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.

It’s true that Mr. grinch made Santa VERY ANGRY by committing a flagrant act of IDENTITY THEFT and stealing all the presents in Whoville. Spoiler alert: even the Grinch has a heart and is able to feel the great spirit of Christmas.

But enough about sports! The version I’ll teach is based on the vocal melody sung by Thurl Ravenscroft in the original animated movie. How’s that for a cool name: Thurl Ravenscroft?!
Cool, now that you’ve heard the whole tune, let’s learn how to play it…

I made some “Learning Chunks” on the FiddleHed site to help you do this. These focused exercises contain sheet music, tabs and mp3 snippets to guide you on each step of your fiddle journey.

These and all new lesson pages can be viewed for one week after publication with a FREE trial membership. Check it out here: https://fiddlehed.com

And after you sign up, I’ll also send you a mini-course of lessons specially designed for your skill level.

Alrighty. Play every day, have fun 😀 and thanks for making music 🙏

Now, go fiddle with it...
