how to make Orange peel candy Dissolve 1 cup of sugar in one cup of boiling water to make syrup and simmer slivered orange peel for a half hour in the syrup. drain orange slices and roll in sugar. This wll work with any citrus peel. put it in your freezer when done. tastes better than you would imagine considering you were just going to throw the peel in the garbage. . The leftover syrup you boil the peelings in make for an exotic and powerful syrup.
