Liszt - Jeux d'eau à la ville d'Este

In this piece Liszt anticipates the Impressionism of Debussy and Ravel, who i guess were inspired to compose their similiar water-themed pieces (Ravel Jeux d'eau, Debussy Reflets dans l'eau). It's a fantastic, highly creative piece that like most of the Années de Pelerinage, as my teacher keeps telling me, is ambiguous and has quite a lot to say about Liszt and what he went through in his travels and the development of his romantic relationship when composing these pieces. 5:33 If there is one thing to take away from the interpretation, it's the delaying of the melody after the arpeggio, not playing it together with the last arpeggio note. One of the suggestions of my teacher, and i like it. 7:45 phrasing the ff passage near the end is a bit of a puzzle, you somehow have to structure it. I hope i played about what i agreed on with my teacher, but if you have another suggestion, shoot! 8:00 this forceful melody should be played in octaves, it's ff anyways. (?) This is for Brian, I might have never uploaded this if it weren't for him because of a lot of mistakes and shaky playing especially at the beginning, and i don't like my phrasing in some of the melody, i would play it differently today. But i just want to put this out there and show the piece, that is by the way not as difficult as it sounds and quite easy to memorize.
