CS Matiang'i: Illegal immigrants will be arrested and deported

Over 4,000 immigrants without legal documents will undergo fresh verification with an aim of arresting and deporting those who are in the country illegally. Interior CS Fred Matiang’i says police officers in all police stations have been given a document from the ministry which lists those in the country legally. The CS says that so far, 60 illegal immigrants have been deported and the operation that kicks off tonight will take 3 months.
