I started to finish the greenhouse windows on the roof and caulk them in to keep the water from running down between and rotting the wood.

I had to remove all the windows first. That went fine. But when I caulked the first window it kept sliding down due to the slippery caulk.

I tried to drill holes in the frame of the window and screw it down but there was not enough meat in the edge of the wood underneath and that was not working at all. The screws just kept tearing out a chunk on the edge of the wood.

I tried quite a few times but it kept failing and the window was sliding down all the time.

I went on to the second window but in all my pushing and shoving on the first window it seems that something shifted and I could not get the window in place no matter how I tried.

I really worked in it long and hard but could not get it fixed. Now I have only one window on the lower half of the roof.

I will have to come back to this later.

This video is actually from last Thursday but I never had time to edit and upload it because I have since been hauling lumber and fire wood every day plus working off the homestead.
