Author explains what's most important in dealing with kids and screen time

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - It's become one of the toughest day-to-day jobs for parents - protecting children from what they see online and regulating how much screen time they're getting every day. Author Nicole Dreiske says the solution is not found in constantly policing the time kids are glued to a screen or in protecting what they are being exposed to. She says the solution is found in how they are engaging and interacting with that screen. Dreiske is also the founder and director of the International Children's Media Center. Her book "The Upside of Digital Devices" explores how to make kids more screen smart.
