China's top political advisor visits Gabon, Cote d'Ivoire & Ghana

Chinese top political advisor Yu Zhengsheng is making an official goodwill visit to the West African countries of Gabon, Cote d'Ivoire and Ghana. The visit will continue until April 20th. On the way, he made a stopover in the Maltese capital, Valetta, where he met with the speaker of the House of Representatives. Yu said that China and Malta have maintained long-term friendly relations with mutual political trust, close economic cooperation and deepening people-to-people and cultural exchanges. He also thanked Malta for supporting and helping China's evacuation of Chinese nationals from Libya in 2011.
