Sentencing Parktown boys water polo coach postponed

Sentencing in the case against former Parktown boys high school water polo coach Collan Rex has been postponed to the 27th of November. Both prosecution and defence told the court that they had not received reports from probation officers assigned to the case. Rex was found guilty of 144 charges of sexual assault and 12 assault charges. The former coach initially faced over 300 charges relating to rape, sexual grooming and attempted murder.
