This lemon squeezer is made of cast aluminum with an enamel coating. It has a nice weight to it at 10 oz and feels sturdy and heavy duty. When using it, the metal doesn't feel like it's going to bend or break as you squeeze, like plastic does. You do have to squeeze fairly hard when using it, so I wouldn't recommend this for folks with arthritis or hand injuries, but in general it's not difficult to use. It is 8.5" inches long and has rubber on the handles for a non-slip grip. There's a hook on the end so it can rest on a bowl or measuring cup while you juice. The six drain holes inside are small enough to keep most seeds and pulp from getting in your juice. When cutting you fruit, remember to cut the ends off so that it sits properly in the squeezer. Even so, when you squeeze, some juice tends to shoot out the sides so I like to cover the squeezer with my other hand so at least tit doesn't get everywhere.

Most of the juice ends up in the dish below, though you may have to tilt the squeezer to drain the juice out of the sides. The lemon juice is pretty thoroughly extracted and the pulp tends to be mostly dry afterwards. You might get another half teaspoon or so if you wring out the peel. Cleanup is easy with a soft sponge since the unit is enameled.

The size of this unit is pretty specific for lemons. You can't really put orange in here but small citrus like limes, clementines or tangerines do fit. The only issue with using this with other fruit is that the gap between the squeezer cup is designed to accommodate the thick rind of the lemon, so on thin skinned citrus you end up with 1/4" of unsqueezed pulp around the rind. Overall, with lemons the juice gets extracted easily, though it can be a bit messy.
