10-year-old testifies against man accused of holding him at gunpoint for 30 hours

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - A 10-year-old boy told a jury what it was like when he was held hostage at gunpoint for roughly 30 hours.

He testified Monday in Donald Gazaway's trial. Gazaway faces several charges, including kidnapping, for a standoff that happened in Liberty Township.

He allegedly showed up at the boy's home in January looking for money. The boy's mother called 911 when Gazaway began firing shots. She was able to escape but the boy could not.

During the standoff, police say Gazaway shot 20 to 30 rounds at officers. He eventually surrendered and the child was not hurt.
