The Vancouver Aquarium is looking for volunteer divers to help conduct our rockfish abundance survey in the field. By taking part in the survey, divers will help gather crucial information about a valuable resource with locally depleted stocks. This video aims to help volunteer divers overcome the challenges of participating in the survey. Some volunteers feel that it is just too big a job to identify and count rockfish, and tally numbers. This video by Peter Mieras of Rendezvous Dive Adventures is aimed at allaying concerns and encouraging divers to try this survey.
