15 Dec 2018. The female spayed cat had difficulty peeing. This is due to urinary tract infection. This cat was afraid of one dominant female cat and hence stopped urination. Urine stasis inside the bladder lead to urinary tract infection, a syndrome called FUS (Feline Urologic Syndrome). No bladder stone was palpable. No swollen bladder. Blood test was normal. The cat went home with antibiotics and painkillers. To separate her from the dominant female and to have her litter area in another toilet. Newspapers are used by some ownersin Singapore as cat litter.
