Instead of staying for 6 hours at the San Marco Hotel or surroundings after breakfast, I took the free bus shuttle to re-visit the "Little Venice" again. As the seas would be rough, a safer ferry would arrive in the afternoon and so we did not depart in the morning as scheduled. In view of the South Korean ferry disaster, none of the tourists complained about the delay in departure. For me, it was a great street photography opportunity.
