Two stunted red-eared sliders have swollen eyes now and do not eat

28 Dec 2018. The stunted red-eared sliders are said to be 2 years old. They do not grow big. Why? Most likely insufficient feeding amounts. Now the eyes are swollen. Likely Vitamin A deficiency. The pellets fed were a particular brand "XO". The owner uses detergent to wash the basins housing the terrapins every day and these chemicals might have been drunk, causing loss of appetite. It is hard to know the exact cause of stunted growth in these red-eared sliders in Singapore .
