Teach your dog stop biting (stage 1)

We like to tell our puppy to stop doing something we do not like. But before they learn the word 'No" or "Ouch" we softly put her in a pen if she continue to bit and nip after we tell them not to. We understand she only kept nipping and teething on us because she doesn't know our verbal and body languages yet. So we put her in a pen for a very short time that she understand our 'gesture' or 'body language'. Then we let her out as soon as she calm down. You can see in this video the pen door wasn't even shut. As long as the puppy is calm she is ok to come out and play again. We do not recommend putting her in the crate, it's her sanctuary, she should love every bit of the crate. Stage 2 becomes very easy once the puppy know what you mean when you yelp or say "no biting".
