South African farmers don't appear too worried about an invasion of fall army worms, despite the caterpillars attacking maize crops in three neighbouring countries. Malawi reported earlier in January that fall army worms had destroyed 2,000 hectares of crops recently, following a similar outbreak in Zambia.
