Rachel knows only too well the difficulties of growing up as a teenager. Friendships can be difficult. But for Rachel however, the torment inside her fragmented mind, takes her on a journey for which there is no coming back from. Filmmakers ages 13-18 The Outreach programme aims to engage young people aged 14-19, who are not in formal education, employment or training, in watching, making and understanding film. The programme gives young people the opportunity to build on soft skills such as confidence, team work and communication, as well as develop practical, transferrable skills through filmmaking. Supported by the BFI, Into Film is the UK’s film learning programme for 5-19 year olds, encouraging and enabling watching, making and critical understanding of film in one accessible offer.
