To see the article from La Paz, visit my photography blog here: http://www.brendansadventures.com/using-telephoto-lens-landscape-cityscape-photos For the lens I used for this image of La Paz visit: http://amzn.to/1LZN5GM On my trip to La Paz, Bolivia I decided to do an episode of "Getting the Shot" since I haven't done one in a while. In this video, I show you when it's a good idea to use a telephoto lens for a landscape or cityscape style image. Lots of newer photographers tend to use wide angle lenses for images like this, but using a telephoto lens can give you image a very dramatic look as my photo of La Paz at sunset does. In fact, I find myself reaching for my telephoto lens more and more over the years rather than my wide-angle in these situations.
