Nikolai Kapustin's Jazz Piano Trio prelude, which imitates the Jazz Piano (chord playing), double bass (running bass) and drums (accents) combo. An exciting piece that shows how masterful Kapustin puts Jazz into classical music forms, even if it is more of a pleasant show piece and Kapustin has richer music like some of the other Preludes or the Etudes. This is from the program "Classic meets Jazz" that we, now called "Duo Simile", played in Israel and Palestine during the Easter holidays in 2013. We had a lot of fun playing this exciting music, getting to know so many friendly people there, and promoting lesser known composers like Kapustin, Alkan and Schnyder, who deserve more recognition.
