I have shown you how to build all sorts of horse jump components, now I will give you different ideas of how to set up different jumps. If you are looking for different ideas of jumps for your own arena, that is what I will show you how to do in this video.

To create a triple oxer jump like this one you will need:
- 3 pair of schooling standards (I used 4 ft standards)
- 4 rails(I used 8 ft rails, 3 striped and 1 solid)
- 1 gate (I used an 8ft gate)
- 5 pair jump cups
- 1 pair of raised rails (I used a 3 ft pair)

Setting up an oxer isn't hard, you just need to have enough pieces of jumping equipment to complete the jump.

You can customize the jump in any way you like by adding more or less rails and filler for the jump. The more solid, or attractive you make the jump look, the easier it will be for your horse to jump it.
This is why I used the gate for fill. It takes up a lot of space, and gives a full appearance to the jump.

When setting up the second and third pair of standards, you will want to determine how wide you want the jump to be. For this example, I set the standards basically back to back. The feet on these standards were only 12", which is fine for the lower jumps you create, but if you are going to be jumping over 3 ft, a wider base would be better. Ideally at least 16" bases of the standards will make the taller jumps more stable.
But for an example, this jump is about 3 1/2 feet wide.

If you would like to know how to build the standards, gate, or create the rails, check out my other videos where I show you how to make these pieces of the jump, and you will be able to create endless possibilities of your own different jumps for your riding arena.
