Constitutional proposal to strengthen hope to end conflict in South Sudan

The South Sudan National Constitution Amendment Committee has handed over a proposal to the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Paulino Wanawila, to be incorporated into the Transitional Constitution of the Republic of South Sudan.The proposal provides for the establishment of a collegial form of government with power sharing between the President and the First Vice President, the inclusion of all the political groupings into the governing process, effective power sharing between main groupings and provision for the permanent constitution making process.
