This flight was done on March 5th 2012. It was a windy day with the wind from the Northwest at 25 knots. The flight was less than 90 minutes due to great tailwind. Clouds were scattered at 5,500 feet msl as you can see by looking at the altimeter. Climbed to 7,500 feet and then past Indianapolis began the descent into Columbus, Indiana. Landed on runway 5 with a slight tailwind. It is beautiful watching the climb and descend through the cloud layer. This is dedicated to all my friends and family that should have flown with me but haven't made it yet. You know who you are :-) The airplane is a Diamond DA40XLS managed by Skill Aviation, which by the way is the best flying club/flight school around.
