loudlabs.com Late Monday night May 22, 2017 San Bernardino County Fire along with Cal Fire and AMR responded to multiple reports of an apartment on fire near the 210 freeway. The fire was reported around 11:19pm at the Victoria Village Apartments in the 6600 block of Victoria Ave. The first arriving engine company reported a large column of smoke showing and immediately requested a second alarm. Firefighters made a quick and aggressive fire attack and were able to contain the fire to the apartment unit of origin on the second floor. According to residents at the scene, the fire may have started in the bathroom and quickly spread throughout the unit. No injuries were immediately reported. It's unclear the exact number of people who were displaced by the fire however, the American Red Cross was requested to assist two adults and two children. The cause has yet to be determined.
