August Senior is accused of taking a backhoe and ramming it into Young’s house causing her death and that of his son; two other houses were also damaged last Wednesday. Two days later, on Friday, he managed to escape from the hospital. August Senior attacked Tanisha Ross, stole her SUV and fled towards the Philip Goldson Highway where he deliberately crashed into a backhoe. He was taken back to the hospital and an evaluation has determined that he suffers from a psychiatric problem. Today, the police provided an update on his case.
