Here's part one of an American Foundation for the Blind model AC-50 talking book record player. This record player had been hacked on by a previous technician and didn't perform that well. I'm in the process of getting it back to normal operating condition. These record players were made available to blind and visually impaired persons who were unable to read standard sized print. The talking book records were available on loan to patrons who were signed up for the Library of Congress talking books program.
