APPLE - A Trillion Dollar Company - My Analysis & Prediction For The Future

On August 2nd 2018, all media news channel outlets announced that Apple had become a Trillion Dollar Company. For a company that had listed itself on the Stock exchange on 12th December 1980, with 4.6 million shares each costing $22 a piece or 1/10,000 of what it is worth today, Apple came a long way off. Especially when you consider that in 1985, Steve Jobs the founder was forced out of the company by John Sculley. And then, to everyone's surprise, the company peaked with 11 billion dollars as it sales figure and then the surprise everyone was waiting for - Steve Jobs came back on 9th February 1997 as the Interim CEO eventually releasing the iMac, iBook, iPod and iTunes.
Then came the big announcement - Jan 9th 2007 - iPhones and subsequently in Jan 27 - 2010 the iPad. However, the biggest surprise among them all was when Steve Jobs died. It was something no one was prepared for. Everyone assumed Apple would be over. But once again - the surprise that everyone wasn't prepared for - Apple's share pricing kept rising more and more.
As apple started to lose its shares with the old version of the iPhone & iPad, one fine day it brought forth the oversized smartphone - the 6 and 6 plus - which in itself became a runaway success and then swept the China markets making Apple even more profitable.
2016 - another dip for the share price with quarterly profits dipped after slow down in iPhone sales.
Then came the iPhone X - 2017 - a phone that was the most expensive to date.
Sadly, this didn't do the magic Apple expected, and on Jan 30 - 2018 - Wall street journal stated - "Apple to cut iPhone X production in face of weak demand"
But guess what - surprise again - In July 31, 2018 - Apple’s iPhone showed once again excellent results
and with that came in the new speculation for September - which shot up its prices to make it a Trillion Dollar company!
