OVER-THE-RHINE, Ohio (WKRC) - Mashup bands rocked out for charity on Sunday night at the Woodward Theater in Over-The-Rhine.

Musicians performed covers of their favorite songs for the Freestore Foodbank's musical fundraiser.

Local performers submitted their names and instruments on an event page in late October to be randomly selected to form a mashup band.

The event, called The Tossed Salad Band Mashup Competition, has raised more than $800, which provides 2,400 meals.
