How do you program a keypad that has no enter key?  For the LM387 keypad, you have to use the # key and 0 to program the keypad. The keypad is variously known as Clicker or Liftmaster Universal 387 keyless entry. 
Some people have trouble programming the keypad. The fault seems to be at the last step when you are told to enter pin and then press "0". Sometimes the door opener does not synchronize (either click or flash light open light bulb) with the keypad when the "0" button is not held long enough. I held the "0" key for about 2 seconds and then I heard the opener clicked.

My friend's opener ( Type 4) is the Chamberlain HD210 made in 2016. The 387 LM keypad stopped working after the 9 volt battery died and previous programming code erased.
