A tale of two Safeways. Make the transition from the past to the future as the camera pans from the classic Damascus Safeway to the new store, where the Grand Opening was underway. Note how the old Safeway has been stripped of all signage. It's not likely to be there much longer, so enjoy this time capsule of Damascus history, exclusive to the Robert Dyer Channel. The new store offers a Signature Cafe, Starbucks, and Bergmann's Dry Cleaning. All of what you are seeing in this video is located in the Damascus Centre shopping center, on Main Street in Damascus, Maryland.
