This is a Star Trek Next Generation "Nemesis" Dolphin Phaser HERO prop that I just completed for a customer of mine. I built this using a Stapleton body and electronics from a local electronics house. The electronics were custom made for me to include the following:

-Right setting button increases the level meter while the left setting button decreases it.

-The level meter includes GREEN, YELLOW and RED LEDs, rather than the common all green.

I've changed the emiiter LED to a SUPER bright green! I also masked off the emitter LED so that the red power cell's LEDs do not bleed through the tip anymore when you press the meter settings buttons. It runs on a rechargeable 3.7 volt battery. The charger port has been installed into the handle grip for easy charging. It features 16 LED firing settings, three different firing sounds, a constantly lit emitter (as long as you hold the "fire" button down) and a diagnostic and "overload" feature. It also includes a slide open cowl to reveal the two power cells inside. Finally, there is a power saver feature, where after about 1 minute of inactivity, the Phaser will shut itself off. The entire Phaser was painted with automotive paint and then coated with an automotive clear coat.
