Apple becomes the first trillion dollar company in the world and in the process made a lot of people a lot more money in the last few days. After such a strong earnings report, an help from all the buybacks over the years, it was pretty easy to push through that 1T mark. The best part for us options traders, this move came with a lot of momentum and the bulk of it occurred on a Thursday where the options premiums were a lot cheaper for the weekly options and it created some opportunity. A lot of people played this, they didn’t make as much money right after earnings, but that next day on Thursday was were the premiums on the contracts really took off and people made money. Hopefully from this video you can see why I did what I did and how I analyze my moves to see what I did right and wrong. You always got to have a trading plan and stick to it, and that’s what I did but it did cost me in this case!
