Every capacitor is taken off the 555 timer circuit driving the Rosemary Ainslie load, including the 100 uF 35 V filter cap and the 0.001 uF and 0.01 uF timing capacitors, and the circuit is shown still running with negative DC averages present. The probe arrangement is covered in detail: all four grounds landed within about an inch of the battery negative terminal to keep lead resistance out of the measurement. The clip also uses a nichrome load resistor wound by Glen.
