UNION, Ky. (WKRC) - Boone County Sheriff's deputies arrested a third teen for threats made towards Ryle High School in Union. Officers took the 15-year-old into custody in the early morning hours Tuesday and charged him with second degree terroristic threatening. That came after two students - a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old - were arrested on Monday for making threats. The newest threat surfaced around 9:30 p.m. on Monday night, drawing concern from Ryle students and their parents. The threat was a screenshot of a Snapchat image that was posted on Instagram stating in part that Ryle High School would be a blood bath soon and that the person making the threat would "pop every mother (expletive) we can too". The student does not attend Ryle but is a student at Cooper High School. He didn't have access to weapons. He told deputies that he doesn't know the 17-year-old who was previously arrested despite the fact that his threat suggested otherwise.
