Reuters names UC as one of the top most innovative universities in the world

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The University of Cincinnati was voted one of the world's top 100 innovative universities by Reuters News Agency.

The list identifies schools that are advancing science and inventing new technologies. UC ranked 80th on the list. It's being recognized for the work being done by engineers who are developing high-tech fabrics for the military.

The fabric would be more resilient, allow uniforms to function as sensors or even store energy like a battery.

Ohio State University is ranked 32nd, and Stanford University topped the list for the fourth year in a row.
