Families displaced after fire damages Stockton apartments

Eight families were displaced Monday evening after an apartment building caught fire, officials said. The fire ignited in the 8600 block of Acapulco Way, near Santa Paula Way, the Stockton Fire Department said. Flames could be seen shooting out of the first apartment building's roof when crews arrived at the scene. The entire Stockton Fire Department -- all 54 firefighters -- battled the blaze.
