The Damascus High School Future Farmers of America chapter was selling these student-grown plants on the opening day of the Mt. Airy Farmers Market, May 20, 2009.  Tomatoes, herbs, verbena, mint, and more were all grown by student members in the greenhouse at Damascus High School.  The Damascus High School club is the only FFA chapter in all of Montgomery County, Maryland.  So if you are concerned about the future of agriculture in the county, they deserve your support.
