More than 200,000 people from across the Gulf Coast turned up for BayFest 2011, the Mobile area's iconic three-day celebration of music featuring 125 national and regional artists, representing a variety of music styles from hard rock to country, and more. The event also included an interactive children's area sponsored by BP, which featured hands-on exhibits and demonstrations about marine life along the Gulf Coast.
