/// NOTICE : This video is intended for a "Mature Audience" only. \\\ In this War Thunder Video, I fly and review the Curtiss P-40 E-1 Warhawk, NOT Kittyhawk.. The United States Army Air Corps adopted "Warhawk" as the name for all models of the Curtiss P-40s, making it the official name of the P-40 in the United States. The British Commonwealth and Soviet air forces used the name Tomahawk for models equivalent to the P-40B and P-40C, and the name Kittyhawk for models equivalent to the P-40D and all later variants. Given the fact that this aircraft is in the American tree if should be called Warhawk, or it should be placed in the British tree. The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was an American single-engined, single-seat, all-metal fighter and ground-attack aircraft that first flew in 1938. The P-40 design was a modification of the previous Curtiss P-36 Hawk which reduced development time and enabled a rapid entry into production and operational service. The Warhawk was used by most Allied powers during World War II, and remained in frontline service until the end of the war. In game it sports (6) M2 .50cal machine guns and when used with stealth ammo can be very effective. It is a very stable firing platform for joystick users, as well as mouse aim alike. I highly recommend this airplane. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it. Please share and subscribe, and as always, Thanks for Watching.. Angry
