Products & Measurements for today’s Flip Top Box: Flip Top Box: My bottle is just under 1 1/2 inches in diameter the sides of this box will all be 1 1/2 inches. My bottle is 5 inches tall. I will need 1 1/2 inches X four sides or 6 inches with a 1/2 inch tab to close the box. So our first measurement is 6 1/2 inches. Next I will need the length of the box I will need a top and bottom "side of 1 1/2 inches each, so 3 inches and the length of my bottle, which is 5 inches, plus my closing tab at the top of the box at 5/8 inches. So my other measurement is 5 inches, plus 3 inches, plus 5/8 inches, or 8 5/8 inches. So In this case I will need a piece of paper that is 6 1/2 inches by 8 5/8 inches. Scoring: on the short side is 1/2 inches, 2 inches, 3 1/2 inches, & 5 inches. This gives me a 1/2 in tab and four sides at 1 1/2 inches. On the long side 5/8 inches for the closing tab, 2 1/8 inches or the top and 7 1/8, which will leave 1 1/2 inches for the box bottom.
