Solar oven, Part 4 Installing the oven window

I made a couple of hinges for the the oven window using some nylon wiring clips. It's seems to work well. I have to stuff more insulation in as I didn't do a good job insulating it. When I'm satisfied with the construction details, I'll close it up and do a real test. It's at 165 degree F with the front and back open. I'm seasoning my cast iron skillet in the oven now although the instructions suggested 350 F. I can think of a few improvements I can make if the current set up does not work well. I can add a second piece of glass, more like plexiglass, on top of the regular glass to insulate the oven better. I can also add more rigid insulation to the exterior box. Anyway, I'll take it a step at a time.
