A man was shot in the face inside a Rite Aid store in South Gate Sunday evening. The shooting occurred shortly before 8:50 at the Rite Aid store located in the 9700 block of Otis Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. We believe that the victim was a customer in the store at the time of the shooting. The suspect fled the scene on foot. The investigation is onging.
