Alarm has been raised over recurring incidents of cattle raids during this month of December in Baringo county, owing to high number of girls who have undergone female genital mutilation and ready to be married off. However, Rift Valley regional coordinator Wanyama Musiambo has ordered the arrest of more than 2,000 girls undergoing Female Genital Mutilation and all behind it in the region.
