Envoys urge South Sudan government to invest more in health and education

Donors to South Sudan's health sector have challenged the country's government to channel funds to the sector instead of spending all revenue on weapons.  Speaking during a health summit in South Sudan's capital Juba, British and Canadian representatives to South Sudan said the country uses a huge portion of its annual budget on the military at the expense of vital sectors such as health and education.  On its part, South Sudan said it is facing financial problems but it is committed to increasing health care funding as the situation in the country improves.
