Your feet and ankles are you interface with the ice, so as a hockey goalie you need to have strong stable ankles.  They can also take on extra load of your hips are not as flexible as they can be and that can lead to ankle pain.  

So here are super-simple exercises to help any goalie get stronger ankles.
