It doesn’t matter what options trading strategies you are using, if you are ignoring this key, you are probably losing money. Trading psychology is one thing, but if you overlook this key element it can really mess with your mentality when it comes to trading. I would say this applies more to options trading and day trading for beginners, but its crazy how many traders I see ignorant of how this concept truly works. Now all though it may come off as simple, the key is truly understanding what I am talking about and the break even price, especially in relation to weekly options and the overall expiration of contracts.
