the ravishing first movement of an amazing suite in the baroque style (in form), with Kapustin's refreshing jazz idiom. I'm not completely happy about this performance, but this is how i would play it for friends in private, which is the case for most of my channel's performances. I'm not sure about the tempo, i'll probably play it at the (faster) proper tempo soon, but i also like a slightly slower tempo than this. Anyways, i intend to complete and upload the whole suite, and there is only one movement i haven't practiced yet. I might upload them out of order, just as i learned them, and i want to upload the Sarabande (mvmt 3) very soon, as i think it's the central piece or the soul of the suite. i hope there'll be the day that i can play kapustin and some other difficult music robustly and in tempo. until then, there's only dreaming and practicing =)
