At Howletts and Port Lympne we are always looking for ways to encourage natural activity in the species that we look after. Some of our keepers and education staff recently attended the Regional Environmental Enrichment Conference (REEC) at Marwell. Chris Hales from the small carnivore section presented both a talk and a poster which were both a great success. The poster (which featured a video display) won best poster for the event. This series of short video clips are some of the concepts/ideas that were featured in the poster display and will hopefully benefit both our carnivores and those from other collections in the near future.
